Marlene has a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and a master's degree in special education from the University of South Carolina. She holds a Ph.D. from Duke University where she majored in learning disabilities and school psychology. She has worked with children of all ages, stages, and abilities, and has supervised and trained teachers in several different educational settings. She has also provided parent education and college level instruction on topics ranging from attention deficit disorders to interpersonal psychology.
Amy worked in the classroom for ten years before transitioning to an administrative role. She has a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Georgia but is a native to Asheville and loves supporting families during these early developmental years.
Nicketie has been with us since we opened. Her wealth of knowledge brings thoughtful insight into both the classrooms as well as her roll in the office. Nicketie has worked with infants and toddlers for over 25 years guiding countless children and their families as they navigate the early learning stages of development.
Tamra has been with Regent Park since 2009 and has worked with infants and toddlers for over 25 years. She works with our youngest infants and their parents as they join our program. She helps to make the transition to care smooth in all aspects through open communication. Parents and infants alike appreciate all of her support during their first childcare experience.
Jessica has been with us since 2006 and as one of our veteran teachers we love all that she brings to the classroom! Jessica received her associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from ABTech and is a native to Asheville. She loves working with this age group and does a wonderful job introducing and then expanding on early learning concepts.
Rebecca joined the Regent Park team in 2015 and has worked with both our infants and our toddlers. She is currently teaching in our Pre-K class and loves helping the kiddos to grow both academically but also in their friendship skills. She cultivates a wonderful classroom feel through supportive peer relationships and tons of fun!
